The other day I was on the phone with Christa. Up until last month our calls focused on seating charts, ribbon, honeymoons and day-of schedules. This time, we were laughing as we both agreed that we are happy that our weekends are now free to do what we please. We don't have long to-do lists and we aren't running non-stop wedding errands. Newlywed life so far, has been quite terrific.
Here's what I've been up to..

baking!

finding room for sweet lil pumpkins
finding room for wedding gifts! party, anyone? (perhaps we need to start having fancier parties..)
getting outside - waterfront walks with otis and apple picking with mr. bliss.
putting away more gifts - check out those shiny pots and pans.

and more baking. i made these yummy chocolate peanut butter cupcakes to bring over to some friends who just had a baby. recipe is here.
How are you newlywed readers enjoying your newfound downtime?
